For this week I am editing my pictures in order to create unity. I decided to use a dark blurred edge to tie all of the images together. I am getting excited to go to Mexico, where I plan to take advantage of the beautiful lighting, and finish up my concentration series. I am only posting three of the pictures that I edited, but I have made changes to most of the photos.
For my concentration series I am taking/creating pictures to look surreal and fantasy feeling. I am editing most of the pictures in photoshop to create abstraction. The main idea of my concentration is to make the viewer interested and have to take a second look. The personal connection to my concentration series is that I enjoy fantasy books and using my imagination.

Week Four
This week I did a lot of traveling and used that opportunity to take some unique pictures that aren't available to me everyday. In a few of the pictures I used photoshop and overlaid to create abstraction. I am still moving towards the "surreal/fantasy" concentration theme.

Week Three
This week, I was focusing on taking trying to take surreal pictures. I used lighting to enhance the feeling of most of the photos. I also worked with photoshop and overlayed a picture of clouds with a girl's face to make it look like she was breathing out into the cold air. I am setting my concentration theme as surreal, magical photos.

Week Two
For the second week working on my concentration, I took more pictures of people and overlaid then with nature pictures. I am starting to be more drawn to this idea. I also was experimenting with shadows. I really like working with photoshop. The structure of my my idea is still coming together. I am hoping that I will get more of a main idea by next week.

Week One
For my first photo shoot I had for my concentration series, I dressed my models to look out of the ordinary. I did their hair and makeup to look fantasy-like, almost like they just crawled right out of a book. In the end I plan on having a few of these pictures overlaid to give it a more surreal mood.
