Final Reflection

From having my work be in the gallery and watching people look at it made me feel professional. I alsos felt proud of myself and felt like my work paid off.

For next years AP Art students I suggest that you stay caught up on your pictures and step out of your comfort circle, you might surprise yourself! Also, stay on topic with your pictures and make sure that your concentration statement goes with all of your photos.

I liked that we got to decide what we took pictures of for the most part. I also liked that we could take walks around the school to take our pictures.

There's not much that could be done differently that I would say besides maybe field trips to beautiful places to find inspiration.

I learned how to work with pictures in photoshop and discovered that I really like to take pictures and it could be an opportunity in the future for me as a job.

I can use all of the Principles of Design that I learned later on in life to make my pictures more interesting. Also, since I might be getting college credit for this class it will benefit me for when I go to college.

Week Six

For the last week working on my concentration I focused on editing my pictures and deciding which ones to put into my series.

Week Five

For this week I am editing my pictures in order to create unity. I decided to use a dark blurred edge to tie all of the images together. I am getting excited to go to Mexico, where I plan to take advantage of the beautiful lighting, and finish up my concentration series. I am only posting three of the pictures that I edited, but I have made changes to most of the photos.

Week Four

This week I did a lot of traveling and used that opportunity to take some unique pictures that aren't available to me everyday. In a few of the pictures I used photoshop and overlaid to create abstraction. I am still moving towards the "surreal/fantasy" concentration theme.

Week Three

This week, I was focusing on taking trying to take surreal pictures. I used lighting to enhance the feeling of most of the photos. I also worked with photoshop and overlayed a picture of clouds with a girl's face to make it look like she was breathing out into the cold air. I am setting my concentration theme as surreal, magical photos.

Week Two

For the second week working on my concentration, I took more pictures of people and overlaid then with nature pictures. I am starting to be more drawn to this idea. I also was experimenting with shadows.  I really like working with photoshop. The structure of my my idea is still coming together. I am hoping that I will get more of a main idea by next week.
